Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Specialist/Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our carbon capture project, and the ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing new business opportunities and enhancing our company's growth and market presence.


Responsibilities:

  

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on onboarding project      developers into our carbon registry.
  • Spearhead the expansion of our client base and customer relationships, through both      geographical expansion and the introduction of additional services.
  • Forge and nurture strategic alliances with top-tier supply chain partners and other complementary suppliers.
  • Set sales targets and strategies in collaboration with senior staff.
  • Manage and nurture customer accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Recruit and train junior sales staff to build a high-performing sales team.
  • Compile and analyse sales figures and prepare marketing campaign proposals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and produce insightful reports and      recommendations on marketing and sales strategies.
  • Participate actively in strategic meetings and senior management discussions to      identify new business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus, particularly if it would facilitate business negotiations and customer support in non-English-speaking regions

Familiarity with the UK ETS, EU ETS and voluntary carbon market is highly desirable 


Qualifications:

  

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in market research.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
